World Day of Safety with Total Liban
Beirut, 3 May, 2016: On the occasion of World Day for Safety, celebrated on 28 April, Total Liban launched, for the 9th consecutive year, an initiative to promote a culture of safety among its employees, its partners, the media and its customers.
This year, the World Day for Safety at Total Liban was dedicated to the contractors and the collaborators. In fact, it was an opportunity to share experiences and best practices and initiate a dialogue for more efficiency in applying the safety measures.
Different activities were organized, on this occasion, in the presence of the media: a round table and role plays allowed the contractors along with Total Liban team to think about each party’s responsibility to apply all the safety requirements and promote all relevant actions and procedures. This day was described as exemplary by Mr. Joseph Debs, Director of MCA Company, who saluted Total Liban’s efforts in the field of safety.
In addition, Total Liban considers that the public’s involvement in the culture of safety essential for the success of such an initiative. In this context, the service station attendants distributed to all customers bloc notes carrying a safety message on the importance of wearing the seat belt while driving.
